Grab a coffee nearby
The Hackney Wick and Fish Island area is packed with independent coffee shops and cafes. Get a flat white and a pastry, and your racket will be ready before you’ve finished.
Walk the canal towpath
The Hertford Union Canal and Regent’s Canal run right past the area. A quick loop along the towpath is a good way to kill 30 minutes in the fresh air.

Around 30 minutes from the moment we start. The exact time depends on the string type and pattern, but most jobs are done within 25–35 minutes. We’ll give you a time estimate when you arrive.
Do I need to book?
Yes. While-you-wait slots are booked in advance so we can dedicate the time to your racket the moment you arrive. Book online or message us on WhatsApp to reserve a time.
Can I watch my racket being strung?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to stay and watch the full process. It’s a good chance to see how tension is applied and ask questions about your setup.
Can you string multiple rackets while I wait?
Yes, but each racket takes around 30 minutes. If you’re bringing two or more, let us know when booking so we can schedule enough time. Most players are happy to wait an hour for two frames.
